Edward R. Torrence is
an attorney licensed to practice law before all courts of the
State of California as well as the Federal Courts of the
Southern District and Central District of California. He has
also been certified to practice in all Military Courts of the
United States Armed Forces including the Court of Military
Appeals. Mr. Torrence was educated at California State
University, Fullerton, California where he received a
Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He received his legal
education at Pepperdine University School of Law, earning a
Juris Doctor degree. He also received specialized military law
training at the Naval Justice School, Newport, Rhode Island.
Mr. Torrence performed a Professional Internship working for
the Office of the District Attorney for the County of Orange,
California. He served as Special Assistant United States
Attorney for the Central District of California for three
years. He served as a Commissioned Naval Officer in the Judge
Advocate General's Corps (JAG) until his retirement in 1994. Mr. Torrence
established his private practice in September 1994, creating a
practice with emphasis on Family Law, serving clients in all
aspects of that practice including issues of:

Edward R. Torrence has been for many years, an active member
in good standing of the California State Bar Association, the
San Diego County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of
the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Trial
Lawyers Association and the Foothills Bar Association.
He has served on the Board of directors of the Foothills Bar
Association since 1998. |
